About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and institutional direction for the Center for Life Beyond Reed (CLBR) in alignment with the college's mission.
- Oversee career development, internships, experiential learning, fellowships, and post-graduate advising initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and senior administrators to embed career readiness into academic and co-curricular programs.
- Lead the college's strategy for internships and experiential learning, including managing employer partnerships and academic integration.
- Manage individualized and group career advising services tailored to a diverse student population.
- Direct the collection, analysis, and reporting of post-graduate outcomes and programmatic data to inform continuous improvement.
- Support College Advancement fundraising efforts through donor meetings and stewardship.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 10 years of experience in career services, student affairs, higher education administration, advancement, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressively responsible management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a liberal arts college or a similarly mission-driven educational environment.
- Terminal degree, such as a Ph.D. or Ed.D.
- Demonstrated experience in career development, experiential learning, fellowship advising, or post-graduate student success.
- Proven track record of partnering with alumni, employers, donors, and other external constituents.
