Director of Strategy & Business Operations

Responsibilities

• Own and drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with clear P&L accountability
• Evaluate, prioritize, and execute new growth opportunities across channels, markets, and services
• Set the roadmap for improving unit economics and marketplace efficiency
• Identify revenue opportunities, margin expansion, and inefficiencies to lead implementation
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to improve funnel performance and pricing
• Build and oversee analytical infrastructure including models, dashboards, and KPI frameworks
• Lead business cases for major investments and expansion bets
• Monitor core P&L KPIs and surface risks and opportunities to the executive team
• Establish scalable systems and processes to strengthen operational discipline
• Leverage AI and automation tools to increase team velocity and performance standards
• Develop and mentor high-performing operators

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or business operations
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable financial impact
• Strong P&L fluency regarding revenue, costs, pricing, and capital allocation
• Exceptional structured problem-solving and business judgment
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and make decisions with imperfect information
• Experience building models, evaluating unit economics, and designing performance frameworks
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills
• AI-native mindset leveraging LLMs and automation tools
• Competitive, high-ownership mentality with a bias toward action
• Experience in digital marketplaces or growth-driven environments is highly valuable
