Director of Strategy & Bizops

Responsibilities

• Own serviceability performance by driving operating metrics including fill rate, worker consistency, and retention
• Lead operational execution to solve high-impact challenges affecting workforce reliability and market health
• Scale operational systems and infrastructure by building processes, tooling, and playbooks for rapid growth
• Drive marketplace and account performance through close partnership with Customer Ops, Worker Ops, Growth, and Product teams
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team to refine strategy and allocate resources

Requirements

• 7-12 years of total experience with a background in top-tier management consulting
• Experience in a senior operating role at a high-growth, operationally complex startup (Series A through Series C)
• Proven ability to build scalable systems and automate manual processes
• Strong analytical modeling skills and experience with marketplace/physical-world operating metrics
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to drive outcomes across diverse teams
• Ability to work onsite in New York City five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with two-sided platform businesses
• Background as a collegiate or professional athlete, or military service
• Direct experience in supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations
• Proficiency in data and analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Looker
