Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise strategic procurement activities for key complex categories to achieve savings and risk management goals
- Act as the primary procurement partner for regional operations and corporate functions
- Drive continuous improvement of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, focusing on standardization and compliance
- Support digital transformation of the procurement function, including e-procurement and contract management platforms
- Manage supplier risk and strengthen relationships with strategic partners
- Provide functional leadership to warehouse management to align procurement with operational needs
- Lead, coach, and develop strategic procurement and warehousing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Proven experience in team management
- Demonstrated track record in achieving recurring savings and reducing risks
- Experience in procurement of critical and complex expenditure categories
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and digital procurement tools
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, PMP, or SCMP
- Knowledge of global sourcing, sustainable procurement, and risk mitigation strategies
- Experience in the mining or material extraction sectors
