Director of Strategic Finance

Responsibilities

• Own Suno's long-range financial plan, annual budget, and rolling forecasts, translating ambitions into dynamic models for revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Lead strategic projects including business model evaluation, deal modeling, and scenario planning to inform leadership decisions.
• Analyze unit economics and key performance metrics to guide growth strategy, pricing, and resource allocation.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate financial modeling, research, and reporting to raise the bar for finance operations.
• Evaluate and structure strategic partnerships and other value-creation initiatives.
• Support capital markets activity, including investor relations, board reporting, and fundraising processes.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to provide financial insights that accelerate decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth technology or consumer company.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, and corporate development.
• Proven, habitual use of AI tools in day-to-day finance workflows (modeling, research, analysis, reporting).
• Strong understanding of consumer subscription and/or AI/SaaS business models and their key value drivers.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to translate complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to drive outcomes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with financial and data platforms such as Stripe, RevenueCat, Ramp, and ERPs.
• Experience at an AI-native or AI-forward company.
• A genuine passion for music and/or the creator economy.
