Director of Strategic Finance

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model, company-wide budget, forecast, and long-range plan
• Deliver reporting, board and investor materials, and key SaaS metrics (ARR, GRR, NRR, CAC payback, etc.)
• Lead scenario planning, unit economics, pricing and packaging analysis, and capital allocation
• Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, and People teams
• Conduct market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and win/loss economics
• Support fundraising, corporate strategy, and diligence
• Architect an AI-native finance function and systems from the ground up

Requirements

• 5–8 years of startup finance experience
• Strategic finance or FP&A experience at a fast-scaling startup
• Investment banking or consulting background
• Elite modeling and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills for non-finance audiences
• Ability to work in-person 3 days/week in NYC
