Director of Solutions Architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture on consulting engagements for Intelligent Applications
• Structure discovery workshops and synthesize current-state architecture
• Produce target-state options with explicit trade-offs regarding cost, risk, and security
• Own the architecture narrative with client executives and enterprise architects
• Integrate architecture into the SDLC lifecycle, including interface contracts and environment strategy
• Partner with engineering leads on dependency maps and migration strategies
• Define operational acceptance, including monitoring for LLM paths and incident runbooks
• Manage architecture exceptions and vendor/model/data residency posture

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading architecture in enterprise consulting or transformation programs
• Proven ability to facilitate discovery and convert ambiguity into decision-ready artifacts
• Deep expertise in integration, API architecture, data platforms, and cloud/security
• Practical knowledge of LLM solution risks including evaluation, monitoring, and PII
• Strong executive consulting presence and ability to manage client scrutiny

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries with complex legacy estates
• Strong track record of partnership with engineering directors
• Experience bridging applications with Databricks or Snowflake-centric analytics
