Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product and platform security strategy
• Lead and grow the security team, including hiring and developing leaders
• Own application security across the SDLC, including SAST/DAST/SCA and threat modeling
• Design security architectures for cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Build and run the detection and response program, including incident investigations
• Drive cloud security posture across AWS and GCP infrastructure
• Act as the product security voice in customer engagements and due diligence
• Advance AI-specific security practices for LLM pipelines and prompt injection surfaces
• Establish security metrics to measure product security posture improvement

Requirements

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years leading security teams
• Deep hands-on experience securing cloud-native, containerized environments (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes)
• Strong application security background and understanding of secure architecture
• Proven expertise in detection and response and leading incident response
• Effective communicator capable of translating risk for executives and customers
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Interest or experience in AI security and securing LLM-based systems
