Director of Scheduling

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and management of detailed, resource-loaded schedules for multiple construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to develop comprehensive project schedules
• Establish baseline schedules and track project progress against KPIs
• Monitor and analyze schedule performance and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and present regular schedule updates to senior leadership and clients
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for delays and resource constraints
• Lead, mentor, and oversee the professional growth of the scheduling team
• Establish best practices and standardized processes for scheduling across all projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all scheduling-related matters
• Work with project management and finance teams to align scheduling with budgets and resource availability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of relevant scheduling experience
• 2+ years managing high-performing scheduling or project controls teams in a consulting environment
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software
• Proven track record managing schedules on large-scale construction projects and programs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional business development acumen and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering
• PMP, CCM, or other relevant professional certifications
