About the role
Responsibilities
- Own revenue and margin across all DTC channels, including marketplaces (TCGplayer, Amazon, eBay), live commerce (Whatnot, TikTok Live), and physical retail.
- Manage the live selling machine by setting show calendars, designing formats, and optimizing metrics like GMV per hour and sell-through rates.
- Build, coach, and manage the sales team, including on-camera live stream hosts and in-store retail staff.
- Drive merchandising and promotional strategies in coordination with buying and inventory teams to optimize cash flow and inventory turn.
- Define and maintain core sales dashboards to provide actionable data for buying, operations, and finance.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning revenue and margin across multi-channel DTC environments (marketplaces, live commerce, and/or retail).
- Demonstrated ability to build structured sales functions, processes, and reporting from low-structure or "messy" environments.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to work with imperfect data to drive results.
- Experience managing and coaching high-performance sales or retail teams.
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, high-ownership environment with a non-traditional schedule (including evenings and weekends).
- Willingness to be hands-on with execution, including hosting shows or working the retail floor during peak periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in live commerce, the creator economy, or streaming.
- Experience in the trading card game (TCG), collectibles, or hobby retail industry.
- Track record of scaling marketplaces or opening/scaling physical retail locations.
- Proficiency with self-serve analytics tools.
