Director of Sales

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed annual bookings and revenue targets for VaaS, SaaS, and platform offerings
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline from prospecting through close using CRM data
• Negotiate and structure complex commercial agreements that create long-term value
• Identify and nurture new customer relationships across pharma, biotech, and the Flagship ecosystem
• Develop and oversee external engagement strategies, including industry events and thought leadership content
• Capture customer insights to inform product strategy and refine the company's value proposition
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, AI, and Operations, to ensure seamless delivery

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in commercial, BD, or sales leadership within life sciences or platform technologies
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets in technical environments
• Strong negotiation, forecasting, and strategic account planning skills
• Experience leading commercial efforts within a matrixed organization
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation abilities
• A "builder" mindset with the ability to thrive in an early-stage, ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cryo-EM or adjacent analytical technologies
• Experience with business development and outreach in scientific or technology-driven markets
