About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-opening sales and marketing initiatives, including market analysis and pricing recommendations
- Establish and cultivate relationships with local referral sources and community partners
- Collaborate with development, construction, and operations teams to align sales efforts with project milestones
- Meet or exceed monthly community sales standards through face-to-face client visits and purposeful planning
- Respond to inquiries and conduct tours for prospective residents
- Maintain the community database and track move-in/move-out data
- Create and oversee the annual community sales and marketing plan
- Monitor and manage the department budget
Requirements
- Experience in senior living, including assisted living and memory care environments
- Blue-sky sales experience in Senior Living
- Expertise in relationship selling and closing
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build trust and manage emotions in client situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Background in sales or leasing in the healthcare or senior living industry
- Experience with motivational interviewing techniques
