About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the full sales cycle, from prospecting and first contact through negotiation and contract signing
  • Establish the foundations for the Italy Sales team, including hiring, onboarding, and performance development
  • Oversee strategic planning, forecasting, and commercial KPI tracking
  • Manage the development of offerings by aligning with regulatory changes, market trends, and customer feedback
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, guiding them through the storage market
  • Represent Entrix at industry conferences and events to strengthen market visibility

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or project origination within the energy, renewables, or infrastructure finance sectors
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading sales teams and defining commercial strategies
  • Strong understanding of commercial models for storage and renewable energy (merchant markets, Capacity Market, MACSE, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to bridge technical, financial, and legal aspects of complex agreements
  • Deep network among renewable developers, investors, and utilities in Italy
  • Fluent Italian and strong English proficiency
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-scaling, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in originating energy projects and closing commercial agreements with major developers or investors
  • High level of agency and a growth mindset focused on turning ideas into action
