About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead total hotel sales strategy across Transient, Corporate, Group, Catering, Consortia, and Local negotiated accounts
- Drive proactive outbound sales activity and account development
- Partner with Revenue Management on pricing strategy, forecasting, pace management, and inventory optimization
- Build demand during need periods and optimize business mix
- Establish strong relationships within the NYC corporate and group market
- Lead weekly sales strategy meetings and drive accountability across the commercial team
- Analyze STR, pace, production, and competitive market trends to drive performance
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience
- Full-service branded hotel experience is required
- Proven success driving REVPAR, market share, and top-line revenue growth
- Experience working directly with Revenue Management
- Strong understanding of transient, group, and corporate sales strategy
- Experience in the NYC hotel market is strongly preferred
- Hyatt brand experience is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Delphi/FDC or similar hotel sales systems preferred
