Director of Sales and Government Relations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive pre-opening sales strategy across corporate, MICE, government, leisure, and diplomatic segments.
• Set and deliver ambitious revenue targets for rooms, F&B, events, and ancillary services.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with government ministries, royal court entities, embassies, and quasi-government institutions.
• Position the property as the premier venue for official state functions, VIP delegations, and ministerial meetings.
• Serve as the senior representative for engagements with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Commerce, and regional authorities.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and licensing requirements in partnership with internal departments.
• Build, lead, and mentor the Sales & Government Relations team, fostering a culture of commercial excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record in driving revenue during pre-opening or repositioning environments.
• Deep existing network within Saudi Arabia's corporate, government, and diplomatic sectors.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English with exceptional communication skills.
• Deep familiarity with Saudi Arabia's government systems, regulatory landscape, and cultural nuances.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives.
