Director of Rooms

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening planning, set-up, and ongoing direction of all Rooms Division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Raffles Butler services.
• Establish and uphold Raffles brand standards, ensuring all services meet or exceed Forbes Travel Guide and LQA benchmarks.
• Oversee financial performance, including pre-opening budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
• Design and manage the end-to-end guest journey, from pre-arrival to post-departure, to ensure personalized and memorable experiences.
• Partner with the General Manager and Executive Committee to translate strategic priorities into actionable operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards across the division.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive Rooms leadership experience within luxury or ultra-luxury hotel brands.
• At least 5 years in a senior Rooms leadership role (Director of Rooms or equivalent) within a Forbes-rated or comparable luxury property.
• Strong financial acumen with proven experience in revenue growth and cost management.
• Proven success in leading diverse teams in high-end hospitality environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, tourism, business, or a related field preferred.
• Deep knowledge of luxury service standards and operational best practices.
