Director of Resort Ambience and Experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall ambience strategy across the resort, shaping lighting, music, scent, visuals, and pacing to deliver an elevated guest experience.
• Develop and implement a property-wide Ambience Playbook, defining daypart experiences and sensory standards across all venues.
• Ensure consistent execution of standards through collaboration with AVL/Technical, Operations, F&B, Marketing, and Entertainment teams.
• Oversee daily on-floor ambience performance through structured rounds to ensure energy aligns with brand expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement using guest feedback and analytics to optimize dwell time and guest satisfaction.
• Curate distinctive, shareable guest moments through signature sensory elements and music programming.
• Lead training for operational teams to ensure clarity on ambience standards across all guest-facing roles.
• Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and sustainability considerations related to ambience operations.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, nightlife, or large-scale experiential environments.
• Expertise in sensory design, dayparting, and guest journey orchestration.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical, operational, and creative teams.
• Strong understanding of luxury F&B service standards and experiential entertainment concepts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
