Director of Residential & Conference Services

Responsibilities

• Manage all conference services processes, procedures, and client contracts for major events including summer programs and day camps.
• Oversee housing assignments and associated billing for conference housing and dining.
• Direct the development and maintenance of the conference services website and StarRez conference portal.
• Develop and manage budgets, including revenue collection, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Partner with the Office of Communications to create marketing strategies for external recruitment and revenue opportunities.
• Provide direct supervision, oversight, and mentorship for an Assistant Director and multiple student employees.
• Collaborate with campus partners such as Dining, Facilities, Campus Safety, and the Dean of Students Office.
• Participate in the campus-wide on-call system and assist with residence hall openings, closings, and orientations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in student personnel or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work collegially with diverse constituencies.
• Demonstrated integrity and cooperation in administrative management.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive professional experience in residence hall administration or supervision.
• Experience with website development and database management.
• Experience overseeing multifaceted administrative processes.
