Flagright is an AI operating system for financial crime compliance used globally by Fortune 500 companies, large banks, fintechs, and fast growing startups. We operate as a lean, high-performance team with high individual ownership and direct access to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own Flagright’s research and insights agenda aligned with commercial priorities
  • Conduct research on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks
  • Write and publish research-led content including reports, whitepapers, and regulatory briefs
  • Act as editor-in-chief for flagship publications to maintain analytical rigor
  • Interview customers, partners, and subject-matter experts to gather primary insights
  • Provide expert support to pre and post sales teams regarding AML and regulatory topics
  • Translate product capabilities and market signals into clear narratives for campaigns
  • Build internal research processes, source standards, and editorial frameworks

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of AML, financial crime, fraud, sanctions, or compliance
  • Demonstrated experience producing research-led content like whitepapers or industry analysis
  • Strong research, synthesis, and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing and editorial judgment for enterprise and technical audiences
  • Experience interviewing experts and stakeholders to extract insights
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams
  • Based in or near London with right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regtech, fintech, banking, or enterprise SaaS
  • Experience building or contributing to a research/editorial agenda
  • Familiarity with transaction monitoring, AML screening, or compliance operations
  • Experience working with senior subject-matter experts to produce market-facing content
