Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day regulatory operations for assigned regions, ensuring compliance of formulations and product labeling
- Lead labeling projects and ensure the development of accurate and consistent label information in alignment with local regulations
- Review formula compliance assessments for accuracy, nutrition, dietary suitability, and ingredient claim requirements
- Lead regulatory deliverables in Stages 1-3, partnering with Project Managers on timelines and resource management
- Partner with leadership to provide support on new regulations and emerging regulatory topics
- Evaluate and respond to compliance requests regarding Prop 65, PFAS, non-GMO, vegan, and other inquiries
- Assist in the development of internal regulatory policies and best practices to streamline processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific discipline (Chemistry, Nutrition, Food Science, Regulatory Science, etc.) preferred
- More than 7 years of experience in regulatory/compliance, including labeling, registration, and formulation/ingredient compliance
- 1-3 years of experience in technical roles such as Quality or Research & Development
- Proven understanding of ingredients, formulations, manufacturing, and supply chain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
