About the role
Responsibilities
- Build the entire end-to-end recruiting function from the ground up for an early-stage stealth robotics company
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, outbound, referrals, interviews, and closing
- Build the outbound and referral engine from scratch to hire exceptional engineers
- Create a world-class recruiting experience that attracts top-tier talent
- Scale the company from a handful of employees to hundreds and eventually lead the internal recruiting team
- Partner directly with the CEO to shape every critical hire during the company's most important growth stage
Requirements
- Full-cycle technical recruiting experience
- Proven experience in boutique firms or early-stage startups without big-company bureaucracy
- A resourceful, intense, and curious mindset
- Ability to thrive in high-intensity, fast-paced startup environments
- Willingness to work on-site in Palo Alto and travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Unconventional life experiences (e.g., military veteran, expedition guide, endurance athlete, or similar high-stakes backgrounds)
- Experience hiring for mission-critical hardware or deep tech roles
