Director of Real Estate & Development APAC

Responsibilities

• Build scalable expansion strategy and planning across offline channels in APAC
• Lead the full lifecycle of real estate development projects including site strategy, lease negotiation, construction, and design execution
• Own and drive the in-house leasing function, overseeing site sourcing and deal closure
• Manage design and construction for DTC, franchise partner stores, retail partner shop-in-shops, offices, and showrooms
• Oversee facility management, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and health standards
• Develop and manage budgets for real estate projects and ongoing operational expenses
• Lead and develop a high-performing multi-function team to achieve business goals

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in retail real estate development, retail design, and retail construction management
• 10+ years of extensive experience in managing real estate brand groups
• 8+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams
• Experience optimizing real estate portfolios for high-growth premium global retail brands
• Deep knowledge of regional landlord landscapes and metropolitan microcultures
• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements for real estate operations in APAC
