Director of Real Estate

Responsibilities

• Manage all real estate activities for 400+ leases in North America, including transaction management, lease administration, and portfolio management
• Develop and execute corporate real estate strategies aligned with business growth and operational requirements
• Lead the negotiation, structuring, and finalization of lease agreements, renewals, subleases, acquisitions, and dispositions
• Provide direction, mentorship, and goal-setting for direct reports and extended team members
• Partner with cross-functional teams to forecast space needs and optimize the real estate footprint
• Conduct portfolio analysis and manage market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee lease and occupancy obligations to ensure compliance and manage real estate transactions against approved budgets
• Coordinate with external brokers, consultants, and service providers to ensure timely execution of real estate projects
• Communicate transaction status and strategic real estate insights to local, regional, and executive leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management
• Minimum of seven (7) years of transactional real estate experience
• Proven experience managing and empowering a team to deliver results
• Strong project management experience, including handling multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
• Demonstrated track record in site selection, lease negotiations, and property administration
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management, P&L understanding, and ROI evaluation
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and create presentations for senior-level executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 per year
