Director of Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing, and Product Development teams to identify and address quality concerns
• Govern quality controls in pre-production and production to ensure flawless execution
• Ensure products meet design, safety, construction, and regulatory standards for domestic and international markets
• Develop and execute failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) for new product developments
• Develop product testing protocols and inspection plans to mitigate defects
• Accountable for the governance of Test Protocols and Inspection Plans for Home Textiles
• Implement necessary adjustments for compliance with latest regulations and industry best practices
• Lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals managing quality and compliance programs for Home Textiles

Requirements

• Proven track record of strategic thinking and structured communication
• Experience driving impact through defect reduction and continuous improvement
• Experience leading technical quality improvement initiatives for Home Furnishings
• Experience developing product testing protocols using industry accepted test methods
• Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistical Process Control
• Quality management experience within manufacturing or processing engineering
• Strong understanding of total quality management principles
• Experience leading and developing high-performing quality teams
