Director of Product - Platform

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the platform layer, including document intelligence, API/developer platform, and model orchestration
• Define platform abstractions that serve multiple business units without creating one-off solutions
• Manage end-to-end human-in-the-loop learning systems and partner with ML teams to advance extraction pipelines
• Drive product strategy for model orchestration, evaluation, and deployment
• Own the developer-facing surface area including APIs, documentation, and webhooks
• Lead and mentor a team of platform product managers
• Partner with engineering and operations to align on technical architecture and handle real-world document variability

Requirements

• Extensive experience in product management owning platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products
• Technical/engineering background (CS degree or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Deep AI/ML fluency and experience building AI-powered products in production
• Proven track record at growth-stage companies (Series B-D)
• Experience managing or mentoring other product managers
• Experience in fintech, lending, or financial data infrastructure
• Hands-on builder mentality with the ability to prototype solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with document intelligence, OCR, or unstructured data extraction at scale
• Familiarity with ML model lifecycle management (training, evaluation, deployment)
• Experience building API platforms or developer tools for external customers
• Background in fraud detection, identity verification, or underwriting automation
