Director of Product Operations & Core Portfolio

Responsibilities

• Own the product operations framework, including decision rights, squad models, and escalation paths
• Define and implement the tooling strategy for Jira, analytics platforms, and documentation systems
• Build and manage metrics infrastructure to ensure visibility into product performance
• Oversee the core portfolio to ensure funded projects deliver high-quality results
• Coach Product Leads on stakeholder management, discovery, and prioritization
• Monitor portfolio health to identify and mitigate risks in struggling projects
• Partner with leadership to develop professional progression paths for PMs and designers

Requirements

• 10+ years of product experience, specifically as a Product Lead or Head of Product
• Proven experience building or scaling product operations within a 50+ person organization
• Strong coaching and mentorship abilities with a track record of developing talent
• Advanced systems thinking skills to design and optimize organizational processes
• Solid understanding of business models and P&L basics to evaluate project viability
• High executive presence with the ability to represent the Product function to Finance, Legal, and HR

Preferred Qualifications

• Explicit background in dedicated Product Operations roles
• Experience leading large-scale organizational transformations
• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Experience within the Telco or platform industry
