Director of Product Management, Data & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Stabilize and improve the existing data product by assessing gaps and delivering near-term value
• Audit and rationalize legacy custom reports to define a clear migration path
• Define the vision and roadmap for a modern data lakehouse using the Jobs to Be Done framework
• Conduct ongoing customer discovery to ensure the roadmap reflects real user needs
• Define and ship customer-facing data products, including APIs, datasets, and consumption layers
• Productize data as a revenue stream by defining packaging, tiering, and commercialization models
• Own the AI data strategy by defining requirements for AI/ML workloads and intelligence layers
• Lead and grow the data product function, transitioning from a senior individual contributor to a team leader

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data product management or related roles
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership capacity
• Deep expertise in Jobs to Be Done and customer discovery methodologies
• Solid working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, APIs, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience defining and shipping data APIs as commercial products
• Strong understanding of AI and ML data requirements and how they depend on high-quality data
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across engineering, product, and executive levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or modern data orchestration tools
• Familiarity with Power BI source integration or similar third-party BI connectivity
• Exposure to AI-powered analytics or visualization tooling
• Background in SaaS, fintech, or market data environments
