Director of Procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and company goals
• Lead the procurement team to achieve cost efficiency, timely sourcing, and supplier reliability
• Oversee stock levels across all categories to ensure availability while minimizing waste
• Implement inventory control systems and demand forecasting models to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and service providers
• Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
• Manage the procurement budget and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Promote sustainable sourcing practices and ethical procurement standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations management
• Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is preferred
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-departmental collaboration
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Strategic thinking mindset with the ability for hands-on execution
