About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of strategic sourcing and spend management for the electronics category, managing $300M to $350M in annual spend.
- Develop and execute global electronic category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service across the supply chain.
- Drive supplier selection and program recommendations using data-driven insights, market intelligence, and scorecard methodologies.
- Execute negotiation strategies for supplier agreements to ensure strong contracts and high service performance.
- Build trusted partnerships with R&D, new product development, and innovation teams to enable collaboration.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team of procurement professionals.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset to drive measurable P&L impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant business experience.
- Proven people management experience within a procurement function.
- Experience leading global teams within a matrixed environment.
- Industry experience in medical devices or adjacent electro-mechanical industries (e.g., automotive).
- Ability to travel up to 15% (primarily domestic) for supplier visits or Kaizen events.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders across R&D, engineering, and manufacturing.

- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPM) designation.
