About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for undergraduate pre-health programs and graduate pathways.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to create pre-health specific communication materials and strategies.
  • Serve as the primary admissions liaison for pre-health programs, collaborating with academic departments and advising.
  • Execute recruitment activities, including hosting on-campus/virtual events and representing the university at professional events.
  • Review applications and make admissions decisions in accordance with program requirements and institutional policies.
  • Utilize Slate CRM to track recruitment data, prepare reports, and identify enrollment opportunities.
  • Supervise and mentor admissions counselors and assist with departmental administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in undergraduate admissions, recruitment, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, specifically Slate or Salesforce.
  • Experience working with pre-health or STEM-focused student populations.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff supervision or mentoring.
  • Ability to travel as required and work extended hours during peak recruitment periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with science or health-related academic departments.
  • Familiarity with pre-health advising structures and health professions pathways.
