Responsibilities
- Develop and execute inventory and financial planning strategies across Wholesale, Retail, and DTC channels
- Lead annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly planning processes
- Drive Open-to-Buy (OTB) management and inventory investment decisions
- Establish and monitor key financial metrics including Sales, Gross Margin, and Inventory Turn
- Develop integrated inventory strategies to optimize placement across all channels
- Drive demand forecasting utilizing historical performance and market trends
- Partner with Merchandising to develop financially sound assortments
- Develop and execute markdown and promotional strategies to protect margin
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing planning organization
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of merchandise, inventory, or financial planning experience in apparel, retail, or consumer products
- 3–5+ years of experience leading planning teams
- Strong omni-channel planning experience (Wholesale, Retail, and DTC)
- Advanced financial, analytical, and forecasting skills
- Proven experience managing Open-to-Buy processes
- Expert proficiency in Excel and planning/reporting systems
- Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills
