Director of Planning & Fulfillment

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end multi-site material planning and fulfillment operations across all production programs
• Set and achieve program-level material readiness targets including line of balance and on-time kitting
• Partner with Procurement to align supplier lead times and material flow to production demand
• Translate engineering change orders and program schedule changes into actionable supply plans
• Establish and own material shortage management processes and root cause analysis
• Build and publish executive-level material health dashboards and risk visibility reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning and fulfillment to close ERP gaps

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree or 16+ years of total work experience
• Deep expertise in MRP/ERP systems and planning fundamentals
• Proven track record scaling planning teams in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
• Exceptional cross-functional influence skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in aerospace or defense industries
• Experience managing multi-site or globally distributed planning operations
• Exposure to AI-enabled supply chain tools or ERP implementation projects
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Experience with production readiness frameworks like MRL
