About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 75-125 prospects to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward lead annual and major gifts.
- Develop and implement personalized written fundraising strategies and tactics for each prospect.
- Serve as a unit liaison for the College of Arts & Sciences, building relationships with faculty, staff, and students to coordinate philanthropy activities.
- Conduct discovery, qualification, and stewardship through face-to-face visits, correspondence, and event engagement.
- Collaborate with central development teams to support broader institutional objectives and maintain accurate contact reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of professional fundraising experience.
- Proven track record of cultivating and closing major gifts or corporate sponsorships of $25,000 or more.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
