Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide full operational leadership across manufacturing, production, packaging, fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, purchasing, and logistics
• Lead and develop approximately 55 employees across domestic and international teams
• Manage end-to-end manufacturing performance including production planning, quality, and capacity planning
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and order accuracy in a high-volume e-commerce environment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Develop and implement scalable SOPs, KPIs, and reporting structures
• Evaluate and implement ERP, WMS, automation, and robotics technologies
• Manage budgets, workforce planning, and overall business profitability

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proven success overseeing production facilities or complex operational environments
• Strong understanding of warehouse management, fulfillment, and supply chain operations
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling manufacturing or distribution operations
• Experience with ERP, WMS, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable results
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, founder-led environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fragrance manufacturing, specialty chemicals, cosmetics, or CPG
• Background in large-scale organizations known for operational excellence (e.g., Amazon, P&G, Unilever)
• Experience implementing automation, robotics, or large-scale operational transformations
