Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across manufacturing, inventory, and logistics functions to meet production, quality, and safety targets
• Lead organizational change management and system migrations (ERP, WMS, MES) to ensure minimal operational disruption
• Drive strategic sourcing and coordinate with external partners and suppliers to improve cost-efficiency and supply chain redundancy
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into performance and bottlenecks
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and reduce waste
• Coach and mentor team leaders and frontline staff to build a high-performing, accountable culture
• Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, Quality, Finance, and Customer Service to align operational priorities
• Manage resource and capacity planning, including labor, equipment, and material resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of operations management experience in manufacturing, assembly, distribution, or warehouse environments
• Proven experience leading system migrations or major implementations (ERP, WMS, MES)
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret operational reports and dashboards
• Demonstrated experience in change management and leading teams through organizational transitions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in multi-site operations or scaling operations during periods of rapid growth
• Familiarity with automation, industrial equipment, or advanced manufacturing technologies
• Proficiency with Excel and various operational software platforms
