About the role

Responsibilities

  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across all manufacturing locations
  • Oversee production efficiency, supply chain performance, and process enhancement efforts
  • Hold full P&L ownership for designated business units, driving financial results, cost control, and margin growth
  • Guarantee adherence to all applicable regulatory standards and industry quality certifications
  • Partner with engineering, sales, and program management teams to drive innovation and accelerate time-to-delivery
  • Craft and implement business strategies aligned with broader enterprise goals to fuel long-term growth
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and servant leadership
  • Attract, mentor, and grow high-performing teams across multiple facilities
  • Uphold disciplined financial management, including precise budgeting and forecasting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
  • 20+ years of progressively senior leadership experience in manufacturing operations
  • Proven experience in senior operational or general management roles with full P&L responsibility
  • Background in aerospace or defense manufacturing is required
  • Experience managing multi-site operations with varied product lines
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement frameworks
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to convert operational data into strategic insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced business degree
