Director of Operations; OPCVM

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of daily operations and infrastructure for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park (OPCVM).
• Direct and coordinate operations across multi-site facilities, including space management, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement policies to improve operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Partner with University administration, facilities planning, and external contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and operational budgets.
• Support the maintenance of preclinical, clinical, and research facilities.
• Collaborate with Campus Security to implement emergency procedures and maintain building security.
• Plan and execute College events, including logistics, venue selection, and compliance with risk management policies.
• Compile data and prepare reports for institutional and program accreditation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Operations Management, Higher Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, facilities, or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education, medical, or veterinary education environments.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes and compliance reporting.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-site or distributed operations.
