Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage field operations teams to deliver on the mission of "Selling Happy"
• Monitor and drive flawless execution in day-to-day operations through frequent restaurant visits
• Hire, train, develop, and retain leadership talent to create high-performing teams and succession plans
• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve sales and profitability targets
• Use data and reporting tools (sales reports, scorecards, labor/food cost tools) to coach and re-establish goals
• Ensure flawless execution of new restaurant openings
• Champion the operating culture and maintain accountability to financial and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, food safety standards, and labor laws

Requirements

• 7+ years of successful restaurant management or leadership operations experience
• Previous senior leadership experience managing large teams in a geographically dispersed environment
• Proven ability to lead people and achieve results through others
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess complex tasks in a high-growth environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods (8-14 hours)
