Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in achieving business objectives through high standards of customer experience and efficient resource management.
• Oversee HR coordination, including contract signatures, health insurance, and Emirates ID issuance.
• Assist in the analysis and implementation of annual business plans and budgets in coordination with finance and department heads.
• Provide leadership across Operations, Marketing, and Finance departments to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
• Coordinate with the Marketing Executive to develop strategies that drive revenue, build brand equity, and leverage digital assets.
• Manage tenders and facility-related purchases to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and maintain strict control over expenses.
• Ensure the facility is staffed by competent personnel and provide adequate training and motivation to the team.
• Monitor industry trends and competition to propose potential business expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of UAE regulations related to veterinary clinic operations, animal welfare, and facility licensing.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• High level of accountability and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the pet-care industry.
• Knowledge of the UAE veterinary market and experience collaborating with local veterinary organizations.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
