Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the US-based team and ensure alignment with global company strategy
• Drive a performance-oriented culture across all US teams, including operations, tech, and growth functions
• Oversee coordination across departments to remove barriers and ensure efficient execution
• Provide executive oversight of US delivery and operational performance to meet customer commitments
• Monitor operational capacity, readiness, and scalability to support hypergrowth
• Work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to support market expansion and strategic pursuits
• Ensure US operations adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and compliance frameworks
• Represent DroneShield with US customers, partners, and government stakeholders when required
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance oversight for US operations

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience managing multi-functional teams and business units
• Proven experience operating in high-growth or scaling organizations
• Strong operational planning, delivery execution, and capacity management skills
• Experience engaging with senior external stakeholders, including government or enterprise partners
• Sound commercial and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in defense, aerospace, hardware technology, or telecommunications
• Experience working in regulated or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, and quality frameworks
