About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple client sites or contracts
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality building automation controls systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers
- Monitor operational performance and ensure all KPIs, SLAs, and contract requirements are met
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Review monthly and weekly financial and operational reports to drive accountability and improvements
- Support Area Managers, Account Managers, and site leadership teams through coaching and development
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and profitability
- Manage workforce planning, staffing models, and subcontractor/vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with sales and business development teams to support growth opportunities and new contract mobilization
- Act as an escalation point for operational and client issues, ensuring timely resolution
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in building automation controls systems
- Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-account operations
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading large teams, including frontline staff and operational managers
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of contract management and service-level compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, operations management, automated controls or related field
