DCWP leverages its authority to bring New Yorkers real economic relief and protect them from predatory, deceptive, and unfair practices that violate their rights as consumers and workers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including the Deputy Director of Administrative Services, Borough Manager, and Quality Assurance staff
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Licensing Center and DOHMH license application processing
• Review license applications for accuracy and consistency
• Develop, document, and implement internal systems, policies, and procedures
• Provide technical training to maximize efficiency
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support application processing
• Provide high-volume customer service in person, online, and by phone
• Plan and mitigate potential operational setbacks

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field (Economics, Finance, Public Administration, etc.) and 2 years of professional experience, including 18 months in a supervisory capacity
• OR a Baccalaureate degree and 4 years of professional experience, including 18 months in a supervisory capacity
• Experience in budget administration, personnel management, or operations research preferred
