Responsibilities
- Supervise staff including the Deputy Director of Administrative Services, Borough Manager, and Quality Assurance staff
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Licensing Center and DOHMH license application processing
- Review license applications for accuracy and consistency
- Develop, document, and implement internal systems, policies, and procedures
- Provide technical training to maximize efficiency
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support application processing
- Provide high-volume customer service in person, online, and by phone
- Plan and mitigate potential operational setbacks
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field (Economics, Finance, Public Administration, etc.) and 2 years of professional experience, including 18 months in a supervisory capacity
- OR a Baccalaureate degree and 4 years of professional experience, including 18 months in a supervisory capacity
- Experience in budget administration, personnel management, or operations research preferred
