About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the development and implementation of curriculum aligned with the NCLEX-RN blueprint
- Identify, evaluate, and support faculty development and teaching assignments
- Manage fiscal program responsibilities in accordance with the institution’s business plan
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Maryland Board of Nursing and various accrediting bodies
- Maintain compliance with CCNE, MHEC, Middle States, and Adventist Accreditation Association standards
- Promote the University’s mission, vision, and Christocentric values through the integration of faith and learning
- Collaborate with enrollment teams to support program growth
- Oversee departmental meetings, clinical agency requirements, and grant procurement
Requirements
- Doctorate in nursing or a related field
- Current unencumbered registered nurse license from the Maryland Board of Nursing
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in nursing academic education leadership
- Extensive experience in curriculum development, revision, and evaluation
- Proven experience with higher education accreditation (state and regional) and nursing accreditation processes
- Experience in student learning outcome assessments
- Exceptional written and oral communication and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching at the Baccalaureate and Master’s levels of nursing education
- Experience mentoring faculty members
