Director of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical operations including scheduling, staffing, inventory, and pharmacy
• Coordinate with state compliance officer to ensure operations follow TDSHS
• Direct clinical and non-clinical personnel and manage performance appraisals
• Review departmental policies, procedures, and systems to ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital budget items
• Ensure safe patient care adhering to policies, procedures, and standards
• Coordinate with facility managers for education, quality care, and patient satisfaction

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current licensure through the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
• At least five years of progressive clinical experience
• Professional Certification in clinical area or management

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Master's degree
