About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Office of Multicultural Affairs
- Serve as a mentor, advocate, and resource for students to promote engagement and belonging
- Develop and implement student workshops and educational programming focused on inclusion and identity
- Collaborate with campus partners to enhance education regarding bias-related incidents and restorative practices
- Manage the office budget and oversee departmental operations
- Support Student Affairs division events such as Orientation, Welcome Week, and Commencement
Requirements
- Master's degree in student affairs, counseling, higher education administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in collegiate multicultural affairs or student life
- Demonstrated experience in student advising and program development
- Proven experience with budget management
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusion and belonging within a diverse community
