Director of Multicultural Affairs

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Office of Multicultural Affairs
• Serve as a mentor, advocate, and resource for students to promote engagement and belonging
• Develop and implement student workshops and educational programming focused on inclusion and identity
• Collaborate with campus partners to enhance education regarding bias-related incidents and restorative practices
• Manage the office budget and oversee departmental operations
• Support Student Affairs division events such as Orientation, Welcome Week, and Commencement

Requirements

• Master's degree in student affairs, counseling, higher education administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in collegiate multicultural affairs or student life
• Demonstrated experience in student advising and program development
• Proven experience with budget management
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusion and belonging within a diverse community
