Director of Men's Sales

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and long-term growth plan for the men’s apparel division
• Lead, mentor, and manage the men’s sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets
• Own and strengthen executive-level relationships with key retail partners and national accounts
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market segments
• Partner with merchandising, design, marketing, and operations teams to align product assortments with customer and market demand
• Drive annual sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions
• Oversee pricing strategies, margin optimization, and promotional planning
• Represent the company at major trade shows, industry events, and executive buyer meetings
• Provide leadership in negotiating large-scale contracts and long-term partnerships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in men’s apparel sales
• Experience in senior or leadership-level roles
• Demonstrated success managing high-volume national retail accounts
• Strong understanding of men’s fashion trends and retail buying cycles
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive negotiation skills
• Advanced proficiency in retail analytics and forecasting tools
• Wholesale apparel experience is required
