Director of Marketing

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute upstream marketing strategies and product roadmaps for medical device portfolios
• Conduct market assessments to identify growth opportunities and unmet clinical needs
• Lead customer research initiatives with physicians, clinicians, and patients to translate needs into product requirements
• Partner with R&D to define product concepts, features, and clinical benefits
• Develop positioning, segmentation, and go-to-market strategies for pipeline products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Sales
• Support reimbursement, health economics, and market access initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
• 8–12 years of medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare marketing experience
• 3–5 years of product management or upstream marketing experience
• Demonstrated experience in product development and commercialization
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and customer research capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Proven experience launching medical device products
• Experience working directly with physicians and key opinion leaders
• Knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement environments
• Global marketing exposure
