About the Company

Urban Sky is a venture-backed aerospace startup that pioneers utilization of the stratosphere and reimagines the way humans view and analyze the earth. We design, build, operate, and sell stratospheric balloon systems, and the data we collect supports a wide range of applications, from real-time wildfire monitoring to urban mapping.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing strategy and execution as a one-person team
• Create marketing materials including copy, visuals, and product collateral
• Develop targeted messaging campaigns for end-users
• Design and manage digital marketing campaigns for lead generation
• Oversee website design, content, and messaging
• Manage public relations and media outreach

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 7+ years of marketing and communications experience
• 3+ years in a leadership or strategic role
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Google Analytics
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Located near Denver, CO or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, technology, or geospatial industries
• Familiarity with government contracting or DoD customers
• Knowledge of stratospheric or remote sensing technologies
• Experience managing PR campaigns in a B2B or technical sector
