Director of Marketing & Communications

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated marketing and communications strategy for Fairmont Orchid to elevate brand positioning and drive demand
• Direct a high-performing in-house team overseeing advertising, digital media, PR, social, and creative programs
• Act as primary media spokesperson and manage strategic relationships with influencers, industry partners, and media
• Oversee digital touchpoints, social media channels, and the development of all creative assets
• Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and monthly corporate/ownership reporting
• Lead crisis communications strategy and internal communication initiatives to ensure brand consistency
• Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and integrated marketing campaigns across all resort outlets

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, PR, communications, or brand management
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and media relations
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand positioning, and crisis communications
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms
• Experience in luxury hospitality or travel preferred
• Previous professional experience working in Hawaiʻi preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, or Business
