Director of Marketing and Communications

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive organization-wide marketing and communications calendar
• Lead strategy and execution for integrated fundraising and awareness campaigns across digital, print, email, website, and social channels
• Create compelling campaign messaging and donor-centered storytelling
• Oversee the creation and production of monthly email newsletters, quarterly print newsletters, and campaign materials
• Develop and execute an organization-wide social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
• Serve as a point of contact for media inquiries and manage external media relations efforts
• Ensure consistent brand standards, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms
• Oversee website content strategy, updates, and optimization
• Track and analyze key marketing and communications metrics including email performance and social engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field preferred
• 5–8+ years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit development
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and content strategies
• Strong understanding of social media, email marketing, digital communications, and brand management
• Experience with media relations and public communications
• Experience working with CRM and email marketing platforms preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to provide all required clearances
